Sheepfly

The Sheepfly is an internally weighted, highly effective nymph built to reach the strike zone quickly while maintaining lifelike movement in the water. Developed and tied by Hall of Fame fly tier Kevin Howell, this pattern has earned a reputation as one of the most productive nymphs designed in the Southeast. 

Tied with a special blend of dubbing that traps tiny air bubbles as it sinks, the Sheepfly creates a subtle, natural presentation that closely mimics the movement of aquatic prey. Its unique design is believed to imitate crane fly larvae or small baitfish, giving it incredible versatility across a variety of fishing conditions.
