Developed by Bill Hale of Anderson, South Carolina, this proven fly was shared with my father who then showed it to me. This fly came with one simple promise—it would always produce a few trout. Over the years, it has more than lived up to that reputation.

Through countless days on the stream, this pattern has become one of our most trusted flies. Its consistent performance has earned it a permanent place in my fly box, just like it will yours.This fly is especially effective during periods of higher water and whenever stoneflies are active.

Tied on a premium hook with wraps of rubber legs, natural peacock hurl, lead wire and saddle hackle. This is a simple fly, no need to make it fancy when the fish love it just the way that it is.
